SSTC and Global are joining together to enhance China's ongoing commitment
to environmental education and to provide for the exchange and development
of appropriate environmental educational materials including textbooks,
teacher guides and training programs for students, teachers, and government
officials. This cooperative arrangement between SSTC and Global shall

University in developing environmental educational materials for university
students. Such materials will include the discussion of various technologies
and their use in enhancing the environment and providing for sustainability.
SSTC and Global, working through the CITCSD and appropriate other
agencies, will also develop and administer an environmental training
program for China's government officials.
Global will seek the involvement of other organizations in the United
