Day 8: Yosemite

Day 8 Yosemite Photos | Introduction to Exchange

"The wilderness is the survival of man. Go into the mountains and seek their good tidings." These words from John Muir come alive when exploring Yosemite.

The first stop for the group was the Mariposa Grove of the Giant Sequoia trees. Then the magnificent views of Glacier Point. Half of the group hiked down the Four Mile Trail (group picture in photo). The day ended with sunset on the face of Halfdome.

Back at camp in the evening, the entire group sat around the campfire singing English songs, singing Chinese songs, dancing, and telling stories. All in all, a good day for the heart and soul.
