Marble Game

Get the marbles into the ice cube tray. Sounds easy, right? Not so easy when each member of a 5-person group is only given one tool -- one chopstick, one toothpick, one straw, or a piece of string. No modification of the tool is allowed.

Different marbles and certain sections of the ice cube tray are worth different point values. The only way to get the marbles into the pockets is to cooperate. The groups really "put their heads together" to get the highest point value possible. The better they cooperate, the better their final score.

The rules for the game were very specific. Failure to follow the rules exactly resulted in "penalties".
Teachers who were shy or quiet on the first day of the workshop were fully integrated with their groups by the end of the second day.
