Energy Survey

One of the key elements of the Energy book is the survey. Students are to make a report of their school, their home, and anywhere they choose in the community to analyze the energy consumption of these places and to determine ways to reduce the amount of energy used.

The participants of the teacher training did a survey of the training building. Each group was assigned a different room to evaluate.

The teachers gathered information from each room including light bulb wattage and heating and cooling systems.
Each group was given a different room to analyze and all suggestions were combined into a single report.
The Energy Environmental Action book is an excellent reference to determine energy consumption and to offer energy-saving options.
