Nina continues to do well, and is still alone. As Daphne Sheldrick has said - the longer an elephant has been in captivity, the longer she will take to adapt and integrate with other elephants. Bearing in mind that she spent 27 years in a zoo, we are not surprised by her single status. Often the guys in camp play football in the afternoon, and the sound of Nina crashing around in the surrounding bush attracts not the slightest bit of attention.
